HIKING

Hop on the gondola from South Lake Tahoe Village and glide skyward to a world above it all. As the views open up around you, you’ll arrive at the summit with direct access to scenic hiking trails—your gateway to fresh air, alpine beauty, and unforgettable Tahoe vistas.

• For Beginners: Check out Cal Lookout Trail (0.4 miles)
• For Intermediate: Skyline Trail - A moderate challenge 0.9 mile with 230-foot elevation gain. Take a scenic chairlift ride up Tamarack Express lift to access the train from Carson Valley Overlook to access the trail. This top of the mountain trail promises views that will leave you breathless
• For a Challenge: Tamarack Trail - The most difficult of hiking trails at Heavenly 1.3 miles and 584 ft of elevation leading up to Monument Peak to Carson Overlook.
