DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

LODGING POLICIES FOR ZALANTA, LAKELAND VILLAGE, AND VACATION HOMES

Deposit: A $50 nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of booking for all non-holiday reservations. A $100 nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of booking for all holiday reservations touching December 22nd through January 3rd and Presidents Weekend.

Final Payment: Full and final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival for holiday reservations, 14 days prior to arrival for winter reservations, and 7 days prior to arrival for summer reservations. Failure to receive full payment on time may result in the cancellation of the reservation.

Cancellation: Lodging and components are non-refundable after final payment. Cancelling at any time after final payment will result in all monies received being forfeited. Any changes made to a reservation may affect total package price. All changes are subject to availability. Your payment constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

LODGING POLICIES FOR ALL OTHER PROPERTIES

Deposit and Final Payment: For non-Holiday reservations a $100 deposit per reservation is due at the time of booking. The balance of the reservation is due 30 days prior to arrival. If canceled at least eight days prior to arrival, you will forfeit $25/room. Reservations are non-refundable inside eight days of arrival.

Holiday: A $100 deposit per reservation is due at the time of booking. The balance of the reservation is due on November 1 and the reservation is non-refundable. For the 2018/2019 season holiday reservations are considered any reservation staying between December 21, 2018 and January 5, 2019.

Cancellation: $25 is non-refundable at time of booking. All bookings are non-refundable inside eight days from arrival.

LIFT TICKET POLICY

All lift ticket products are non-transferable and non-refundable. Online PEAKS rates are only available online. Additional days purchased at the ticket window must be purchased at the window rate. If you do not receive your tickets in the mail before your trip, they can be easily reprinted at the window when you arrive for no additional cost. When you purchase lift tickets, you will automatically be enrolled in the Vail Resorts "Peaks" loyalty program, at no cost to you. You will receive program information by standard mail and will be offered the chance to decline.

AIRLINE RESERVATIONS POLICY

Airline tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Change fees and/or increased fares will be applied when a reservation is modified. Once the ticket has been purchased the name on the ticket cannot be changed.

It is the responsibility of all adult passengers to present valid photo identification upon check-in with their airline. If you are a member of your airline's frequent flyer or other reward club, please present your club number upon check-in. Vail Resorts asks that all passengers reconfirm their flights, with the airlines directly,  24-hours prior to their departure.

Prices are per person, and include all taxes & fees in USD. Airline baggage fees may apply and are not included in the price.

(NOTE: children's ski and snowboard lessons require helmets and some form of mountain lift access)

CHILD LESSON, CHILD CARE & NURSERY POLICIES

  1. Your Credit Card will not be charged at the time of the reservation booking.  It will be charged the day before.  A receipt will be emailed to you once your lesson has been charged. 
  2. All cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the clinic or program start date in order to obtain a full refund. Any changes in a reservation within 48 hours of the clinic date(s) will be charged a $75 fee per reservation.
  3. All No Call/No Shows or same day cancellations for any reason will be charged the full amount. No refunds due to weather or illness including but not limited to Gondola or Upper Mountain lift status.
  4. You will be required to sign a children's ski or ride school assumption of risk, hold-harmless, release of liability and indemnity agreement prior to your child's participation.

Protective Helmets: The use of helmets is strongly recommended.  Children age 12 and under must wear a winter sport protective helmet while participating in ski and ride school.  In addition, children and teens under age 18 who participate in designated children's classes must wear a helmet.  While helmets may reduce or mitigate the severity of some head injuries, their use does not guarantee safety and will not prevent certain injuries.  Rental helmets are available at our children's ski school locations for your convenience.

The Resort reminds you that every winter sport participant shares responsibility for his or her safety and for that of others using the ski area facilities. Always show courtesy to others and be aware that there are elements of risk in skiing and snowboarding that common sense and personal awareness can help reduce. Know your ability level and stay within it. Become familiar with and observe "Your Responsibility Code" and share with other skiers the responsibility for a great skiing experience.

ADULT SKI SCHOOL POLICIES

  1. Your credit card will not be charged at the time of your online reservation booking. It will be charged the night before or the morning of your lesson depending on weather. A receipt will be emailed to you once your lesson has been charged.
  2. Any Changes or Cancellation must be made 48 hours prior to your lesson Start Date or a $75 change/cancellation fee will be imposed.
  3. All No Call No Shows or same day cancellations will be charged the full price of the lesson.
  4. All guests must check in 1 to 1 ½ hours prior to their lesson start time to ensure that their reservation can be fulfilled**
  5. All participants must check into their program location on time to ensure that their reservation can be fulfilled.

* No refunds will be given due to weather including but not limited to Gondola or Upper Mountain lift status.
* No refunds will be given for unused days.

PRIVATE LESSON REQUEST POLICIES

Reservation Request and Cancellation Policy

  1. Your online transaction is a Reservation Request. This product will appear as "Purchased" in the Trip Folder when the request is sent, not when payment or booking is completed.
  2. You will be contacted by a Ski School Agent prior to your arrival and you'll receive a confirmation email from ski school for this Reservation Request. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your request may not have been received. If this occurs please contact the Ski School office, 800-HEAVENLY option 7.
  3. Your credit card will not be charged at the time of the online purchase, and will be charged up to 48 hours prior to your arrival. A receipt will be emailed to you once your private lesson has been charged.
  4. Private lessons must be Changed or Cancelled 24 hours prior to your lesson start date.
  5. Any Changes/Cancellations made after 5pm the day before or any No Call No Shows the day of will be charged the full price of the lesson.

* No refunds will be given due to weather including but not limited to Gondola or Upper Mountain lift status.
* No refunds will be given for unused days.

SEASON PASS POLICY

SEASON PASS DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY
 
BY PUTTING $49 DOWN I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM COMMITTING TO BUY THE PASS(ES) FOR THE 2018/2019 SEASON. I UNDERSTAND THIS $49 PAYMENT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. I agree the credit card provided will be authorized for the remaining amount of the Season Pass product purchased. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to my credit card on or around September 15, 2018. Once the $49 initial payment has been made, the $49 initial payment cannot be cancelled or refunded, nor can the pass purchase be cancelled or refunded. In the event the total price of the Season Pass product is lowered prior to the start of the 2018/2019 ski season, the remaining amount due will be reduced by the amount of the total price lowered. I agree to provide a valid email address for the express purpose of receiving communications regarding this transaction. I understand this is the only manner by which I will receive such communications.
 
THIS PASS IS NON-TRANSFERABLE AND MAY NOT BE RESOLD. The pass may be confiscated and not re-issued if, in the sole judgment of the ski area operator, the pass holder: 1) acts in a manner that could endanger the safety of any person; 2) violates the law; 3) provides ski lessons or related services for compensation; or 4) engages in fraud or misconduct or creates a nuisance. Re-issued passes may be subject to a replacement fee. The pass holder acknowledges his or her affirmative duty to immediately notify the ski area operator and authorities if the pass is lost or stolen and that failure to do so may result in loss of skiing privileges. The pass holder also acknowledges that this pass is non-refundable unless Pass Insurance has been purchased.
