Snow capped mountains, fire pits, sleigh rides, pines decorated with Christmas lights ice skating, and world class dining all encompass the regular South Lake Tahoe scene, but during the holiday season things really get going.Celebrate at our two-week festival in the Heavenly Village, featuring professional ice skating shows, ice sculptors, carolers, local artists and a 16-foot interactive snow globe where kids can get their photos taken with Santa. It all starts December 20, 2014 and culminates December 31 with an unparalleled New Year’s Celebration, featuring ice sculptors, an outdoor concert, fire dancers and a 9:00 pm ball drop and fireworks show. Come spend a white Christmas on the slopes and kick off the year in Heavenly Village.
Santa's Workshop Snow Globe
Santa's Workshop will be recreated in the Heavenly Village inside of a 16-foot snow globe. Head inside the snow globe to sit on Santa's lap for a unique photo opportunity. Enjoy holiday music from a live DJ and watch Carolers perform.
Heavenly Ice Rink
Join us nightly during Heavenly Holidays to watch some of the most talented skaters in the country perform on the Heavenly Village Ice Rink. The ice skating shows will be different each night, so come back nightly to see a new show. The shows come to a close on Monday, Dec 30 with the grand finale show.
Large ice sculptures will be created during daily ice sculpting exhibitions. Join us in the Heavenly Village to participate in activities and watch the sculptors at work. Each day the sculptures will add to the magical ice wonderland in the Village.
New Year's Eve Celebration

The evening is packed with world-class music, games, fireworks, and the world's only Gondola Ball Drop. Entertainment includes an outdoor concert, ice sculpting performances, fire dancers, a photo booth and face painting. The party continues into the night at one of the many casino nightclubs.
