KNOW BEFORE YOU REGISTER

You must select the event date, Saturday, March 28 and click 'update results' to purchase a ticket. Next, please select 'update cart' and proceed to filling in your information and purchasing. If you are not purchasing a race ticket for yourself, please input the person's information that you are registering. If you are already an Epic Pass holder, your information may be saved. Please note this is your race entry fee ticket. If you are not a passholder, you must purchase a special lift ticket at check-in on Friday afternoon from 4:00pm-6:00pm in the California Main Lodge or Saturday morning from 7:30am-9:30am in Cal Bar. This will be a special lift ticket for Gunbarrel 25 with a cost of $65. 

OFFICIAL RULES

Entry is limited to the first 225 competitors registered and paid. Entry fee plus a valid pass product are required. Entry is available online at https://www.skiheavenly.com/explore-the-resort/experience-heavenly/gunbarrel-25.aspx or in-person on the day of the event. Be aware this event can sell out online or the morning of the event.

Check-in is 7:30 am-9:30 am on Saturday, March 28, 2020, in Cal Bar at the California Base Lodge. 10:00 am race start.

All competitors must provide a valid driver's license to be held during the competition and they will receive a souvenir event bib, t-shirt, and an RFID chip for electronic timing and lap counting. Upon return of the RFID chip, the competitor will receive their driver's license. Any competitor that completes 25 laps or more will receive a GB25 2020 commemorative pin.

To start the event, all competitors will be lined up in bib order, in groups of 10, and will load the lift single file. Actual timing will not begin until the competitor crosses the start line to load the lift. Timing for each run and the count of a completed run registers when the competitor crosses the finish line.

Competitors are to stay within the boundary of the designated run and not deviate outside or through terrain between designated runs or they will be disqualified.

Male Skier; fastest skier of 25 (60+)
Female Skier; fastest skier of 25 (60+)
Male Skier; fastest skier of 25 (30-59)
Female Skier; fastest skier of 25 (30-59)
Male Skier; fastest skier of (18-29)
Female Skier; fastest skier of (18-29)
Male Skier; fastest skier of 25 (13-17)
Female Skier; fastest skier of 25 (13-17)
Male Skier; fastest skier of 25 (12 or younger)
Female Skier; fastest skier of 25 (12 or younger)

Male Snowboard; fastest snowboarder of 25 (18+)
Female Snowboard; fastest snowboarder of 25 (18+)
Male Snowboard; fastest snowboarder of 25 (17 or younger)
Female Snowboard; fastest snowboarder of 25 (17 or younger

Iron Man – Most laps in the allotted time (18+)
Iron Woman – Most laps in the allotted time (18+)
Iron Boy – Most laps in the allotted time (17 and younger)
Iron Girl – Most laps in the allotted time (17 and younger)

Prizes awarded are at the discretion of Heavenly Mountain Resort. The Iron Man/Woman category, open to both skiers/snowboarders, will be awarded to the competitor in each of the 4 categories with the most completed runs at the conclusion of 6 hours of run time.

Race entry includes admission to a pasta buffet and awards ceremony at 5:00 pm following the event. (Spectators can purchase pasta buffet dinner tickets at the door).
