FAQs
Should I make a reservation for my Adult Lesson?
Yes, this will ensure that you have a lesson for the day and you receive a discount for booking in advance. Also, we may fill up during Holiday/Peak times. A reservation for the following day must be made by 12pm.
What time should I show up?
You should plan on arriving at the Ski & Ride School sales office 1 to 1.5 hours prior to your lesson start time (2 hours during Holiday/Peak times) to fill out release forms, get your tickets and be fitted for equipment. Remember, it can take up to 30 minutes to go up the Gondola to reach the meeting area at the top.
Can my child take an Adult Lesson?
Adult Lessons are for guests 14 years and older. Adult Lessons are not as supervised as our Child Lessons; adult students are free to leave the class at any time they choose. All our instructors are trained to recognize if there is a minor in the class. The instructor will ask the students to come down the mountain with them at the end of the class, but do not require the student to do so. We recommend that you choose a meeting place for you and your child at the end of the day.
Is lunch included with my lesson?
Lunch is only included in the Ultimate 4 group lessons.
Will my instructor eat lunch with me?
Your instructor is required to take a half hour lunch break that they may choose to eat with you. Remember to agree on a place and time to meet back up with your instructor if you do not eat lunch together.
What clothing should I bring?
Weather can change quickly on the mountain, so layers are best. It is a good idea to have waterproof pants, coat and gloves, along with Sunglasses or Goggles and a pair of tall socks (Ski or Snowboard socks recommended). Also, remember to apply sunscreen. Remember - the weather at the top of the mountain will be colder than the weather at the bottom.
