DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES:


    LODGING, CAR RENTAL, SHUTTLE, EQUIPMENT RENTAL, PACKAGE POLICIES--

        

     

    $100 per person is due at the time of booking during the regular season. The balance of the reservation is due 30 days prior to arrival. Full payment is required for reservations booked over holiday time periods and is non-refundable. For the 2014/2015 season holiday reservations are considered any reservation staying between December 20, 2014 and December 31, 2014. 

    CANCELLATIONS: $25 is non-refundable at time of booking. All bookings are non-refundable inside eight days from your arrival. Privately owned homes and condos managed by Aston Lakeland Village, Accommodation Station, Tahoe Keys Resort and Lake Tahoe Accommodations are always non-refundable inside 30 days from arrival. Reservations booked over holiday time periods are non-refundable.  

    REVISIONS AND REFUNDS: A minimum fee of $10 - $25 will be charged for each revision. Reinstatements will be treated as revisions and are subject to the same fee.

    LIFT TICKET POLICY--

    

 

All lift ticket products are non-transferable and non-refundable. Online PEAKS rates are only available online. Additional days purchased at the ticket window must be purchased at the window rate. If you do not recieve your tickets in the mail before your trip, they can be easily reprinted at the window when you arrive for no additional cost. When you purchase lift tickets, you will automatically be enrolled in the Vail Resorts "Peaks" loyalty program, at no cost to you. You will receive program information by standard mail and will be offered the chance to decline.

AIRLINE RESERVATIONS POLICY--

    

 

Airline tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Change fees and/or increased fares will be applied when a reservation is modified. Once the ticket has been purchased the name on the ticket cannot be changed.

It is the responsibility of all adult passengers to present valid photo identification upon check-in with their airline. If you are a member of your airline's frequent flyer or other reward club, please present your club number upon check-in. Vail Resorts asks that all passengers reconfirm their flights, with the airlines directly,  24-hours prior to their departure.

Prices are per person, and include all taxes & fees in USD. Airline baggage fees may apply and are not included in the price. 

CHILD LESSON, CHILD CARE & NURSERY POLICIES--  (NOTE: children's ski and snowboard lessons require helmets and some form of mountain lift access)

    

 

1. Your credit card will be charged the full amount on the day prior to your reservation.
2. All cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the clinic or program start date in order to obtain a full refund. Any changes in a reservation within 48 hours of the clinic date(s) will be charged a $75 fee per reservation.
3. All No Call/No Shows or same day cancellations for any reason will be charged the full amount. No refunds due to weather or illness.
4. You will be required to sign a children's ski or ride school assumption of risk, hold-harmless, release of liability and indemnity agreement prior to your child's participation.
5. Children age 12 and under must wear a winter sport protective helmet while participating in ski school. In addition, children over the age of 12 who participate in designated children's classes or programs must wear a helmet. Rental helmets are available at our children's ski school locations for your convenience.

While helmets may reduce or mitigate the severity of some head injuries, their use does not guarantee safety and will not prevent certain injuries. The Resort reminds you that every winter sport participant shares responsibility for his or her safety and for that of others using the ski area facilities. Always show courtesy to others and be aware that there are elements of risk in skiing and snowboarding that common sense and personal awareness can help reduce. Know your ability level and stay within it. Become familiar with and observe "Your Responsibility Code" and share with other skiers the responsibility for a great skiing experience.

1. Your credit card will not be charged at the time of your online reservations. It will be charged the night before or the morning of your lesson depending on weather. A receipt will be given to you once your lesson has been charged.
2. Any Changes or Cancellation must be made 48 hours prior to your lesson Start Date or a $75 change/cancellation fee may be imposed.
3. All No Call No Shows will be charged the full price of the lesson.
4. All guests must check in 1 to 1 ½ hours prior to their lesson start time to ensure that their reservation can be fulfilled**
5. All participants must check into their program location on time to ensure that their reservation can be fulfilled.

* No refunds will be given due to weather.
* No refunds will be given for unused days.
* You will be required to sign a VAIL RESORTS SKI SCHOOL ASSUMPTION OF RISK, HOLD HARMLESS, RELEASE OF LIABILITY.

** Guests who already have equipment in hand will only need to check in 30 min prior to their lesson start time.

Reservation Request and Cancellation Policy:

1. Your online transaction is a Reservation Request. This product will appear as "Purchased" in the Trip Folder when the request is sent, not when payment or booking is completed.
2. You will be contacted by a Ski School Agent prior to your arrival and you'll receive a confirmation email from ski school for this Reservation Request. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your request may not have been received. If this occurs please contact the Ski School office, 800-HEAVENLY.
3. Your credit card will not be charged at the time of the online purchase, and will be charged up to 48 hours prior to your arrival.
4. Private lessons must be Changed or Cancelled 24 hours prior to your lesson start date.
5. Any Changes/Cancellations made after 5pm the day before or any No Call No Shows the day of will be charged the full price of the lesson.

SEASON PASS DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY

Partial Pay Agreement: By putting $49 down, I understand that I am committing to buy the pass(es) for the 2014/2015 season. I UNDERSTAND THIS $49 PAYMENT IS NOT REFUNDABLE. I agree the credit card provided will be authorized for the remaining amount of the season pass product purchased. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to my credit card on or around September 15th, 2014. Once the $49 down payment has been made, the $49 down payment cannot be cancelled or refunded, nor can the pass purchase be cancelled or refunded*. In the event the total price of the season pass product is lowered prior to the start of the 2014/2015 ski season, the remaining amount due will be reduced by the amount that the total price was lowered. Those who pay $49 down will also be entitled to summer 2014 access.

I agree to provide a valid e-mail address for the express purpose of receiving communications regarding this transaction. I understand this is the only manner by which I will receive such communications.

*The only case where a guest can get a refund on a season pass is if pass insurance has been purchased and there is a valid claim.

THE PASS YOU ARE BUYING IS NOT TRANSFERABLE AND MAY NOT BE RESOLD. The pass may be confiscated with no re-issue if, in the sole judgment of the ski area operator, it is used in a fraudulent manner. Re-issued passes may be subject to a replacement fee. The passholder(s) acknowledge their affirmative duty to immediately notify the ski area operator and appropriate authorities if Holder’s pass is lost or stolen. Failure to notify the ski area of a stolen or lost pass may result in loss of skiing privileges.

Restrictions may apply for some season pass products. Visit snow.com for restricted dates. Valid for resorts purchased. Child is defined as 5 -12. Teen is defined as 13-18. Adult is defined as 19+. For questions, call 800-842-8062. No refunds available for season pass products. There is no season pass processing for these passes at Arapahoe Basin.
