Heavenly Adventure Peak

Heavenly's high-altitude Adventure Peak is located at the top of the Gondola at Heavenly.

The first part of the adventure is simply getting there! The 2.4-mile ride up the mountainside in the Gondola is one trip you'll never forget. The eight-passenger cabins take guests 2.4 miles up the mountain in 12 minutes while they enjoy views of Lake Tahoe.

Just when it seems the ride can't get any better, guests arrive at The Deck - a 14,000 square foot mid-station observation platform. Located at 9,123 feet, guests are treated to views of the Carson Valley, Desolation Wilderness and shore-to-shore views of Lake Tahoe.

The second part of the adventure is the park itself, complete with Heavenly Flyer, restaurant, climbing wall, hiking trails, Spyder Zone and more! There's plenty of fun-filled opportunities for children of all ages at Heavenly's Adventure Peak.
 
NEW THIS YEAR: Enjoy a higher view with the Summit Ticket. This ride up Tamarack chair gives you scenic views of the Lake Tahoe area and surrounding mountains! Also new this year, The Summit Ticket with Guided Eco-Walk and lunch! Ride to Adventure Peak then take Tamarack to the summit and hike over to the Pinnacles (10,067' elevation). Leaves Adventure Peak each day at 11:30 am.

Heavenly Flyer

A ZipRider Experience
The Heavenly Flyer, a ZipRider experience, is located at Adventure Peak. Enjoy the Heavenly Gondola ride that will take you up to 9,156'. From there, you'll hop onto the Tamarack Express to get to the zip line take-off deck. This elevated zip line cable ride will take you on a high speed thrill ride from the top of Tamarack Express back to the top of the Gondola, a vertical drop of 525 feet. At 3,100 feet, the Heavenly Flyer is the longest ZipRider in the lower 48 U.S. states. The views are spectacular and zipping through the trees and over the Gondola will add perspective, making this an ultra-cool ride.

PLEASE NOTE: Accessing Adventure Peak requires the purchase of a ticket to ride the Gondola. Adventure Peak activity and rental ticket prices do not include the cost for the ticket to ride the scenic Gondola.

Take a break in Lake Tahoe at the top of the Gondola for a signature burger or sandwich hot off the grill. Enjoy our signature soups and chili. And if all that fun has got you thirsty, why not enjoy a frosty beverage from our full-service bar.


In an effort to preserve our natural resource and in response to the elevated fire danger, Heavenly has integrated a strict no-smoking policy on the Gondola from top to bottom, including the observation deck and throughout the activities areas.
