Heavenly is located in the Sierra Nevanda mountain range, approximately 1 1/4 hours south of Reno, Nevada and 2 hours east of Sacramento, California.

Driving to Heavenly

From Sacramento: Follow U.S. Highway 50 East to the junction of U.S. Highway 89 North. Continue on Highway 50 making a right hand turn, following the bend in the road. Drive approximately 5 miles to Ski Run Boulevard. Turn right and follow the signs to Heavenly!
From Reno: Follow U.S. Highway 395 S to Carson City. Drive through Carson City to the junction of Highway 395 and U.S. Highway 50. Follow the right-hand bend on Highway 50 up Spooner Summit. Continue on Highway 50 to the Nevada / California state line. Drive approximately one mile to Ski Run Boulevard. Turn left on Ski Run Boulevard and follow the signs to Heavenly!
From Los Angeles (8 hours): Follow U.S. Highway 395 North to Bishop, CA and then to Minden, NV. At the intersection of State Route 208, turn left. At the top of Kingsbury you may turn left on Tram Way Drive and drive approximately 2 miles to Stagecoach Lodge. Or, after starting the descent on Kingsbury Grade, you may turn left on South Benjamin and drive approximately 1 mile to Boulder Lodge. Finally, if you're staying in California, drive up and over Kingsbury Grade to the Intersection of U.S. Highway 50 West. Turn Left and drive approximately 2 miles to the intersection of Ski Run Boulevard. Turn left and follow the signs to Heavenly!

Free Ski Shuttle System

Complimentary shuttle service throughout South Lake Tahoe and Stateline
Stops at most major lodging properites and to Heavenly's base facilities: the California Base Lodge, the base of the Gondola in the new village, Stagecoach and Boulder Lodges in Nevada
Buses pick-up at each of the bus stops as frequently as road and weather conditions permit, typically every 20 to 30 minutes. Look for the blue "Shuttle Bus Stop" signs or check with the front desk at your lodging property for Heavenly Ski Shuttle details. For more information, call (775) 586-7000.
We also offer an express shuttle running from the Gondola to the California Lodge.
For guests in search of gaming and live entertainment, casino shuttles run virtually 24-hours a day. For a morning shopping spree, a late-night show, or anything in between, taxis and limousines are available around the clock, as is the South Lake Tahoe public transportation.
